What makes Manuka Honey special compared to regular honey?

The nectar of the Manuka flower is what gives Manuka Honey its unique non-peroxide activity (NPA), and is the reason for its higher antibacterial activity and medicinal quality compared to regular honey.

Real Manuka Honey only comes from New Zealand, where the Manuka flower originates. The farms that produce our Manuka Honey are situated in the remote and unmarked areas of the New Zealand landscape, allowing the purest and highest quality of Manuka Honey to be produced.

Manuka Honey is the rarest honey in the world.  Among all honey varieties Manuka Honey is the most scientifically researched and medically studied.
